This years Perth Fashion Festival has now wrapped for 2010 and what a festival it was.
Jam packed with 40+ events, 70+ designers, there is no doubt that PFF2010 was bigger, better and more fabulous than ever before! Over 10,000 people attended PFF2010 events and enjoyed Bunkers wines while celebrating the amazing talent of the WA fashion industry.
The converted Gasworks building called âFashion Paramountâ that was home to 10 runway shows was so unique and completely cosmopolitan. The white catwalk, beautiful clusters of bauble chandeliers and huge AV screens made the old gasworks building at 347 Wellington Street come to life.
The Bunkers surfboard wine bottle display was definitely a fashionable accessory in the VIP Loft bar, where guests enjoyed Bunkers wines before the runway shows. The Loft Bar was created out of a wonderful âwarehouseâ style space adorned with art by Stormie Mills and decorated with rows and rows of Bunkers wines. The plasma screens featured a Bunkers Wines produced âImages of a Margaret River Summerâ video which were a bright splash of colour in the dimly lit Loft Bar.
Fashion Bar, the official after party âhot spotâ was equally impressive with the bartenders looking very stylish in their Bunkers tees designed by Perth based designer, Gavin Fielding from Mixing Cultures. Bunkers bottles were displayed on illuminated shelves which made the converted car park glow, oozing a raw, edgy elegance. There were many fashionistas at Fashion Bar parading their bottle of Bunkers as the hottest fashion accessory to come from PFF 2010.
National and international celebrities including Russell James, Ashley Roberts from the Pussycat Dolls, Leah Wood and Melanie Greensmith were all spotted enjoying Bunkers wines. The Bunkers âGuillotinesâ Shiraz was Melanie Greensmithâs drink of choice as she partied at the VIP room at Fashion Bar after the Wheels and Dollbaby parade. Festival director, Tony Sage was spotted enjoying the Bunkers âWindmillsâ Roseâ at Loft Bar. Local Perth personalities including Premier Colin Barnett and wife Lyn, ABC newsreader Karina Carvalho and social glamour queen Margarita Hughes all also enjoyed Bunkers wines.
It seems everyone is going Bonkers for Bunkers with new venues including The Garden, Gold Bar and Universal Bar all jumping onboard the Bunkers juggernaut. Watch this spaceâŠbig things are happening for Bunkers Wines and we are so excited about what comes next.
